Carey Mercer (of Frog Eyes, Blackout Beach, and Blue Pine, as well as Swan Lake with Destroyer's Dan Bejar and Wolf Parade's Spencer Krug) phones it in from his kitchen in Victoria, BC. Frog Eyes are known for Carey's unhinged wailing and cacophonic sound; here you get soft-spoken kindness, wonderful weirdness, and, yes, truly bizarre caterwauling. Some classics and some new ones.
